Caminito

Handwoven Palm Visor

$32.00

Our favorite sun visor is handmade in Mexico from natural woven palm and features an adjustable velcro closure to fit almost everyone and every hair style. Provides ample sun protection while keeping you looking stylish. The velcro opening in back allows you to put it on whether your hair is up or down. Lightweight and super versatile - shade your eyes while reading a book lying down or protect your face while shopping the farmer’s market, our visor is an easy to wear, everyday staple.

Inner circumference: adjustable to fit 20” - 23” diameter of full hat: 12”

Please note: Visors are hand made and colors will vary. Our visors are made from natural palm fibers, please be gentle with your new visor. Avoid creasing or folding it in a way that might damage the fibers. Our visors are strong and durable but are made from palm fibers and should be treated with care.

Caminito was born to celebrate the local craft and traditions of Mexico and California. Our name Caminito means small wandering path. For this new chapter we will be directing our focus toward celebrating life’s simple joys. Take the slow road and admire the shapes in the clouds. Lounge on a blanket while sharing laughs and snacks. Cozy up with a good book under one of our warm blankets. Most of all we’d love to have you embrace the time and effort that goes into each of our handcrafted goods.

Born on the border of California and Mexico, we were raised at a cultural crossroads. As a mother and daughter team (Elizabeth and Liz) we collaborate with skilled artisans from our home country of Mexico. The design process starts at our Bay Area studio, taking inspiration from its diverse landscape. Our colorful blankets come straight from a family run business in the heart of an old artisan city in Mexico. We then handcraft our leather straps in our San Diego studio and ship all our goods from there. Each item is created as a tribute to Mexico’s color and craft. Take a stroll, sit back and stay awhile.
