Mwezi Necklace- last chance!

This necklace is handmade in the suburbs of Nairobi, Kenya by our brass artisan Moses. We were inspired by the beautiful beaded jewelry of the Masai tribe found in Kenya. The brass pendants are cut, shaped, hammered, soldered, and polished, before being strung together with small glass beads.

Length: 31″

Amsha meens "to awaken" in Swahili. Every day is an opportunity to wake up with purpose and passion. To awaken with new ideas, opportunities, and adventures ahead of you.

At Amsha, we believe in the slow fashion movement and create our goods with environmentally friendly and fair trade practices in mind. We are creating jobs, promoting education, and improving the quality of life in East Africa.

Combine modern design with traditional techniques to create mindful home and lifestyle products. With the purchase of our goods, we create opportunities for six women’s co-ops and several independent artisans across Africa. Our makers are provided with skills training, market access, fair pay, a collaborative work environment, and a path for economic independence.
